Changing the World, One Patient at a Time
If you want to truly make a difference – not just punch a clock and cash a paycheck – we’d love you to consider joining our team.
OneWorld Community Health Center is a growing Omaha, Nebraska-based company that employs 460 people while still retaining a true family feel. We were the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit employer of the year, and in a recent Best Places to Work Survey, 90% of our employees said that they are proud to work here. Our Leadership team maintains an open door, regularly hosts employee events and continually encourages employee development.
In short, we love our employees, and they love working for us.
The Diabetes Education & Nutrition Services team at OneWorld is an integral part of our medical clinic. We are looking for a Diabetes Educator (BSN, RN, or RD) who is patient-centered and works well in a team environment. Our Diabetes Educators teach classes and counsel patients one-on-one in order to educate them on the effects of diabetes, how to manage medication, the importance of diet and exercise, social and cultural influences, and coping skills. They provide case management and follow-up for our diabetic patients, and they work closely with medical providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
OneWorld Community Health Center provides a competitive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental and Life Insurance; Tuition Reimbursement; 401(k); onsite daycare; free fitness center and more. If you want to apply your unique skillset to a diverse, caring, growing Nonprofit that serves 37,000+ patients, please apply.
You can make a difference – in your life and the lives of others.
