SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

Professionals at this level have excellent communication skills with clients, co-workers and community entities.  Specific project, program or outreach responsibilities may occur at this level.  Experience in case management and/or crisis counseling is preferred.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Temporary Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide direct intake/assessment of client’s presenting problem and barriers to recovery.
  • Provide information and referral to address client needs.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure needs were met with referral.
  • Maintain all contact documentation within the Federal web-based reporting system and provides internal reports as needed.
  • Provide problem solving and crisis intervention to clients.
  • The ability to communicate positively with community members regarding coordination of services.
  • Display a comfort level in working with stressful individual/family dynamics.
  • Always displays a courteous and caring attitude to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the agency.
  • Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
  • Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance.
  • Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • Creates, maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • Essential functions of this job are to be performed virtually.
  • Performs other program related duties as assigned.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • High school diploma required
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate and work constructively with team leader
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft products.
