A BIT ABOUT US
Founded in 1875, our agency has grown over the years to address most of the challenges children, adults, families, and communities face across the lifespan, including substance use, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence/sexual assault, human trafficking, homelessness, juvenile justice, mental health, neighborhood distress, and poverty. Today, we offer 42 programs from 20 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa. This position serves as a substance use and mental health therapist to individuals and families participating in our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs in the Omaha/Council Bluffs Metro Area. PSH provides financial assistance and supportive services to individuals and families who have experienced long term homelessness and those with a disability. The goal of the program is to assist people with obtaining and maintaining housing through supportive services such as case management and mainly in home therapy services to help support skills needed in order to maintain housing independently. This position will work in collaboration with a team of case managers.
Compensation: $49,300 to $69,000 (per year) based upon experience.
Work Scheduled: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
You could be perfect for this opportunity if you have a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social work and your LMHP or LIMHP in addition to at least three years of experience. We are looking for someone who has a passion working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma in their lives, embodies the tenants of trauma informed care, someone who is organized, detail-oriented and enjoys working out in the community as well as in a team setting.
