SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Performs skilled duties of a broad nature. Assignments may entail a wide knowledge base, decision- making, and problem solving. Ability to work with wide range of guests and customers. Very detail oriented, organized and able to meet deadlines. This position requires two evenings per week.
Work Schedule: Hours vary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*Refers callers to appropriate Heartland Family Service programs: Scheduling appointments checking in clients and assigning to Therapist.
*Manages client Data in electronic health record (s).
*Updating and maintaining clinical file setup structure.
Accurately takes messages and gives appropriate directions to clients and general public; assists visitors, clients and staff in processing their inquiries, process all fax inquiries.
*Performs secretarial and support staff duties and responsibilities which include but are not limited to typing, filing, and support for Non-behavioral health programs.
Displays a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
Cooperates and collaborates with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
Abides by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
Develops personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
*Is dependable and punctual regarding scheduling and attendance. Maintains organized reception area and opens and/or closes location.
Responsible for Federal Parole contracts and billing. Updating monthly plans. Coordination with external and internal staff.
*Creates, maintains and shares as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
*Strives to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency's ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
*Essential functions of this job is to be performed on company physical work site.
