Do have experience in auto repairs or equipment maintenance?
A local, RV dealer is looking for a service technician like you in the Omaha, NE area!
RV Technician functions:
  • Diagnoses, rebuilds and repairs recreational vehicles and equipment
  • Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment
  • Prepares and maintains records and reports
  • Examine or test operation of parts or systems to ensure completeness of repairs
  • Repair plumbing and propane gas lines, using caulking compounds and plastic or copper pipe
  • Inspect recreational vehicles to diagnose problems and perform necessary adjustment, repair, or overhaul
  • Locate and repair frayed wiring, broken connections, or incorrect wiring
  • Confer with customers, read work orders, or examine vehicles needing repair to determine the nature and extent of damage
  • List parts needed, estimate costs, and plan work procedures
  • Connect electrical systems to outside power sources and activate switches to test the operation of appliances and light fixtures
  • Connect water hoses to inlet pipes of plumbing systems and test operation of toilets and sinks
  • Remove damaged exterior panels and repair and replace structural frame members
  • Open and close doors, windows, and drawers to test their operation, trimming edges to fit as necessary
  • Educates customers of basic upkeep and use of newly purchased recreational vehicles
  • Operates company owned vehicles to transport trailers
RV Technician Requirements:
  • Diagnosing mechanical problems and performing repairs
  • Safety practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing
  • Customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
RV Technician Skills & Abilities:
  • Paint and body work
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Electrical systems, including computerized induction/ignition systems
  • Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it
  • Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools
  • Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
  • Managing one's own time and the time of others
