Project Harmony is the operating partner of the Learning Community Center of North Omaha – Parent University. Parent University is a 2-generation model, partnering with parents to support family empowerment, opportunity and stability. The Parent University community is open to families who live in the northeast Omaha area and have a child 6 or under and/or expecting a child. We offer a number of courses to support parents, including like skills/wellness, GED/ESL education, leadership and parenting. We offer center-based and home-based services to help families be advocates for their child in school and prepare young children for school success.
The Food Service Coordinator is responsible for the planning and production of healthy meals for the children whose parents are enrolled in Parent University.
This position will operate out of Parent University on N. 24th Street. Work days are generally M-F, but could require some evening and weekend hours. 25-30 hours per week. Schedule TBD by Program Director.
