Description
OTR Wheel Engenering, an Omaha, NE based wholesale distributor and manufacturer of wheels and tires, is looking for a dynamic individual to join the current purchasing team.
Aftermarket / Wholesale Buyer
Key Responsibilities:
- Procures tire and wheels for the aftermarket / wholesale division
- Oversees inventory and works with vendors on approprieatly levels of inventory
- Submitts purchase orders to vendors and tracks delivery of prodcut
- Consults with aftermarkest sales team on current and future product needs
- Negotiates price to establish terms and conditions and resolves problems
- Seeks and develops sources of supply trhough research and vendor consultations and negotiations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of purcurment experience
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access
- Accounting software experience preferred
