In the role of Linux Systems Administrator, you'll be responsible administering on premise and hosted cloud environments, servers and software applications. ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Ensure effective operation of Signature's on premise and hosted cloud environments to meet business needs, including the design architecture, integration and continued support
  • Provide all aspects of IT network and systems support and administration including, but not limited to:
    • Advanced troubleshooting of desktops, server and network infrastructure.
    • Azure Administration
    • SAN administration
    • VMware administration
    • LAN/WAN/VPN administration
    • Software/hardware installation and troubleshooting
    • User account administration
  • Maintain security posture of network and systems
  • Research and evaluation of technology solutions for business needs
  • Educate staff regarding use of software, systems and applications
  • Prepare and maintain documentation of network and systems configurations
  • Follow and Adhere to NIST 800-171 and FedRAMP Moderate Controls and Standards
  • Assist Security and Compliance Teams routine tasks and with annual audits
  • Maintain and test disaster recovery plans
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements
  • Rotate as after-hours contact and perform after-hours support as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary

 

Position Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux as well as other Linux Distributions
  • 4+ years IT work experience in systems and network administration
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Security-Enhanced and other General Security Guidelines
  • K8/Kubernetes Provisioning and Support Experience a plus
  • Nvidia/CUDA Driver Support on RHEL a plus
  • Experience with Office 365 and Azure a plus
  • Experience with other cloud solutions, such as, AWS or Google Cloud a plus
  • Effective team member working toward company goals.
  • Active Directory administration and implementation
  • Windows Server Administration
  • Network troubleshooting and engineering including VPN, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, L2 and L3 Routing, VLAN Tagging, and SD-WAN
  • Experience in the supporting, configuration, design and administration of next generation firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points, and other networking equipment and technologies.
  • Business intelligence systems administration
  • Analytical problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to successfully perform job functions with minimal supervision

  • Knowledge of scripting principals with PowerShell and Python
