About the position:

Develops and coordinates the implementation and supports the ongoing application of positive mental and behavioral health programs and support plans ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Mosaic standards.

Responsibilities Include:

* Responsible for hiring, training, supervision and coaching of direct reports to maximize employee engagement and effectively achieve desired results.
* Develop and implement mental and behavioral health training programs, plans and interventions designed to increase success in the community, teach adaptive/effective behaviors of individuals served and modify undesirable behaviors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Mosaic standards.
* Conduct ongoing behavior assessment through observations, review of data and interviews, and recommend appropriate behavior intervention and support/consistency programs. Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate implementation of Behavior Support Plan (BSP) and ongoing monitoring as needed.
* Develop and deliver staff training programs developing the internal capacity of agency staff on positive mental and behavioral health interventions, and other areas related to behavioral training.
* Maintain accurate records related to mental and behavioral health programs, support plans and interventions. Monitor progress of plans, programs and interventions and make revisions as needed.
* Provide crisis intervention support to individuals with behaviors jeopardizing safety of self or others; work with support teams and staff during crisis intervention to ensure positive and effective interventions.
* Maintain contact with mental and behavioral health supports to monitor and support the development of individuals served.
* Monitor effects of psychoactive medications on the health and behavior of individuals served, ensuring coordination among all aspects of service.
* Monitor the quality of behavior change programs.
* Actively participate in Mosaic's national support team for mental and behavioral health, including but not limited to clinical type supervision, resource sharing and networking, training and resource development.
* Safely operate a motor vehicle when required to travel on company business.
* Travel required to multiple agencies and program sites throughout Nebraska.

About you:

* Master's degree from an accredited college or university that is primarily therapeutic mental health in content required.
* Must have and maintain Nebraska State licensure as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment.
* One year of supervisory experience preferred.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
* Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment.
