Vetting Manager
The role of the Vetting Manager is to ensure that a business meets Code of Business Practices as outlined by the International Association of Better Business Bureaus and once approved, continues to meet the Code of Business Practices. This position involves cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with Accredited Businesses, as well as serving as a liaison between the business and license agencies (if applicable) to ensure compliance.
Reports to: VP of Operations
Supervises: Accreditation Compliance Coordinators
Full-Time position Monday – Friday
Depending on the location of the candidate, the position is available for remote work
Responsibilities??
Follow established procedures in order to process applications with deadlines; process involves investigation pertaining to Code of Business Practices checklist
Communicate and liaise with prospective businesses during the application approval process
Communicate with businesses that are currently non-compliant with policy to facilitate their compliance
Create a list of denials and potential revocation for approval by Board of Directors
Upon request, provide pre-sales support to Regional Business Consultants to determine eligibility
Draft and send decline letters for companies declined accreditation (for approval by VP of Operations)
Hold vetting department meetings and attend other BBB meetings as scheduled
Contribute to internal policy guidelines for consistency
Supervise the workflow of Accreditation Compliance Coordinators to ensure accountability, productivity and met deadlines
Undertake other related duties as required
