Position Description Overview

Manages client implementations, projects and conversions for large/technical custom implementations. May be responsible for driving complex, high priority implementations, conversions, projects or component phases of larger programs. Develops, coordinates, and executes project plans, task schedules and resource activities to ensure on-time and effective project delivery. Identifies opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance revenue and improve product efficiency. Interface with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions. Interprets and communicates Fiserv services and Fiserv products to clients, sales, and vendors. At times will be responsible for gathering client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation, project or conversion. Provides client consultative input on Fiserv product and system features. May lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of an implementation, project or conversion, from initiation to closure. Insures project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving project schedule, risk and issue management, and scope change management.


Job Responsibilities


As an Implementation Advisor, you will be responsible for\:

  • Managing client implementations, projects and conversions for large/technical custom implementations. 
  • Driving complex, high priority implementations, conversions, projects or component phases of larger programs.  
  • Developing, coordinating and executing project plans, task schedules and resource activities to ensure on-time and effective project delivery. 
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance revenue and improve product efficiency.  
  • Interfacing with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions. 
  • Interpreting and communicating Fiserv services and Fiserv products to clients, sales, and vendors. 
  •  At times will be responsible for gathering client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation, project or conversion. 
  • Providing client consultative input on Fiserv product and system features.  
  • Leading and coordinating cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of an implementation, project or conversion, from initiation to closure.

  • As an Implementation Advisor, you will be responsible for\: Assisting clients with implementing Fiserv Print products and services. Building and developing strong relationships with Fiserv clients.  Ensuring projects are completed within true project plan outline guidelines.  Driving moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger, more complex projects.  Delivering medium to large projects on time, within budget, and within scope.  Leading and coordinating cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.  Exemplifying strong initiative and management skills.  Insuring project methodologies, project delivery processes and implementation management processes are followed.  Managing and Driving\: Project Schedule, Risk and Issue Management, Scope Change Management, and Managing the project budget. 
  • Understanding and validating budget estimates, cost variance tracking, and managing project resources effectively.  
  • Providing clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal.
  • Facilitating and managing project communications and stakeholder, client and project team expectations.


Job Requirements

  • 5-7 years of FD system experience or relevant payment processing experience. 
  • 4+ years of project management experience with high levels of complexity and the ability to work independently with little management guidance. 
  • Bachelors degree preferred or relevant work experience.
  • PMP preferred. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Server. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. 
  • Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified time frames, while ensuring customer satisfaction.  
  • Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection.  
  • Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans.  
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities.  
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments.

  • Develop, coordinate and execute project plans, task schedules/key milestones and resource activities to ensure on-time and effective project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procedures, enhance revenue and improve product efficiency. 
  • Interface with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions. 
  • Interpret and communicate Fiserv services and Fiserv products to clients, sales, and vendors. 
  • Gather client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation, project or conversion. 
  • Provide client consultative input on Fiserv product and system features.

  • Manage workflow of projects within Fiserv tools.  
  • Preferred print output project management experience.
