Position Description Overview

Retain and renew existing business by providing customer support to Tier 2 level clients to cultivate, build and ultimately grow the relationships.       


Job Responsibilities

  • Owns and is accountable for key client accounts, including retention and further revenue generation, through consultative value add selling.
  • Conduct pre-sales business needs analysis (Know your Customer).
  • Shadowing an experienced Account Executive to learn the ropes.
  • Working on key sales initiatives programs.
  • Preparing sales related client campaigns.
  • Prepare business review for presentation.
  • Answering client calls.
  • Meets or exceeds revenue and EBIDTA expectations.
  • Creates competitive advantage through expertise and knowledge.
  • Generates new business from within the portfolio and explores revenue generating opportunities.
  • Develops and grows relationships with C-level contacts and decision-makers.
  • Leads sales and marketing activities on a per account basis to ensure clients are aware of our product and solution offerings.
  • Demonstrates analytical insight and knowledge of transaction and interchange level details pertaining to their accounts and understands the impacts on both the client's and First Data business.
  • Responsible for facilitating and conducting reviews with the relevant stakeholders within the relationship.
  • Maintains accurate records of all account activity with Salesforce.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.


This position will be based in our Alpharetta, GA office.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent with 1+ years sales related experience preferred.
  • Excellent planning & organization skills.
  • Ability to understand complex problems and provide solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communicator.
  • Experience in an acquiring or banking environment is preferable.
  • User of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrate success at driving performance and achieving growth towards meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Ability to conduct and lead C-level meetings.
