TITLE\:                     Test Engineer


LOCATION/HOURS\:    Atlanta,Georgia; Monday-Friday, Full-Time


DUTIES\:                  Work with multipleprograms and system projects of high complexity within various developmentenvironments. Create test plans and coordinate testing for various projects toensure dates, deliverables and milestones are met. Use knowledge in Mainframeand the Banking & Payment Industry to assist with managing and testinginitiative. Provide subject matter expertise to support the product lifecycle.Determine test strategy, test planning, and test closing metrics. Use technicalpayment systems experience to continuously process improvements. Collaboratewith projects, requirement review, sizing and capacity planning meetings.Oversee several projects and application streams simultaneously. Assist withpost-design scope changes and resolve issues throughout the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle (SDLC), while also analyzing and prioritizing defectsbased upon business and programming specifications. Lead, develop, monitor andexecute test activities for large sized projects and programs. Provide guidanceto team members on the scripting and execution activities required toaccomplish the test plan and design requirements. Research new tools andtesting approaches, as well as execute upon and monitor the implementationitems. Responsible for post-test execution activities, including errordebugging, reporting needs and external communications. Use COBOL, JCL, VSAM,REXX, Job Scheduling, CICS, VSAM, FILE-AID, OS390, ZOS, IBM DB2, FILE Manager,ENDEVOR, SAR, NDM, Service Desk, CA7, SPUFI, Java, XML, RQM, RTC, RDNG, DFSORT,IOF, TSO-ISP & IBM Utilities, Agile and Waterfall methodology, andFunctional testing of mainframe. REQTS\:          Must have Bachelorsdegree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or arelated field plus six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in theposition offered, as a System Analyst/Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer,Senior Software Program Analyst, Software Engineer, or a related position. Must have six (6) years of progressivelyresponsible payment industry experience with\: COBOL;JCL; VSAM; REXX; Job Scheduling; CICS; VSAM; FILE-AID; OS390; ZOS; IBM DB2;FILE Manager; ENDEVOR; SAR; NDM; Service Desk; CA7; SPUFI; Java; XML; RQM; RTC;RDNG; DFSORT; IOF; TSO-ISP & IBM Utilities; Agile and Waterfallmethodology; and Functional testing of mainframe.
