The Finance teams align with our customer-facing teams to drive consistency, yet also have the flexibility needed to meet unit-specific goals.Our Finance owner-associates bring the domain expertise that helps First Data retain and grow our base of owner-associates, drive profitable growth, navigate complex channel partnerships, and build First Data's brand equity. 




MBA Finance Intern is responsible for financial support and development of timely and comprehensive business cases for a vertical channel within First Data. Provides financial evaluation, key metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management. Manages projects with moderate degrees of complexity, and will collaborate and coordinate among cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company; and geographically dispersed teams that are responsible for all aspects of their assigned vertical channels. Implements financial strategy and aligns resources and people to meet strategic goals.

  • Maintains strong working relationships with business partners and internal departments.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of Management.
  • Responsible for ensuring the execution/implementation of ad hoc projects as requested.
  • May be responsible for financial systems development and administration.
  • Provides guidance, planning and direction for internal partners customer renewals and new customers and proactively allocates resources and time for functions they support.


  • Currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in large global organizations
  • Advanced financial modeling skills required. Strong abilities within data management including Microsoft Excel, Access, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle, Tableau and SAS.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize objectives and manage time
  • Required to be mobile for future opportunities
