Job Responsibilities

  • The Operations Supervisor role is responsible for the maintenance and leadership of teams within the First Data Issuer Dispute Operations organization.
  • Support, coach, inspire and motivate your team.
  • Responsible for planning and structuring work activities for the team and monitoring progress.
  • Balancing staffing resources to meet the needs of your business.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to team members as they carry out daily work activities.
  • Participate in recruitment activities as well as the development and evaluation of staff.
  • Building positive relationships with clients, consumers and other First Data Owner Associates.
  • Develop and maintain healthy communication between analysts, management, and customers.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce or eliminate operating costs or gain efficiencies through process improvement or technology enhancements.
  • Responsible for meeting contractual obligations and ensuring that liability is kept to a minimum.
  • This is an ongoing learning position due to frequent changes with the Associations (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), regulatory guidelines, government regulations, changing technology and client requirements.


Job Requirements

  • BA/BS or Degree-in-progress.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced PC and office suite skills required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in production environment required.
  • One year of previous lead/supervisory experience preferred.
  • Analytical and a problem solver.
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
