TITLE:              Manager IT
LOCATION:       Atlanta, Georgia
DUTIES:           As part of Product Development Client Solutions and Technology functions, perform quality and test advocacy, resource planning and management, and resolution of issues that impede test efforts. Responsible for managing a department or team of people. Provide innovative and advanced technology solutions. Assist with the product life cycle and manage the development of applications and solutions that will enable next-generation commerce. Oversee the creation of the infrastructure of the global commerce ecosystem. Ensure that First Datas data remains secure as the team works within cyber-security. Participate in Quality Assurance best practices including governance, test management, and automation tools. Uphold industry standard quality measures and utilize Project Management tools, including Microsoft Project Plan (MPP) while working in a Linux and Unix environment. Employ Governance and Audit tools including MS SharePoint and One Drive. Demonstrate knowledge of and experience in Software Development Life Cycle within Agile Software Development and Waterfall methodologies. Interpret IT strategy and align resources to meet strategy goals. Utilize experience in embedding Test Driven Development practices into Agile and software programming languages to assist in day-to-day duties. Rely on basic development and design knowledge and utilize defect management tools, including Clear Quest, Quality Center, JIRA, and RTC. Responsible for managing resources, hiring, firing, conducting performance reviews, and determining compensation and promotions. Coaches direct reports and subordinates within the functional units supported. Ensures the execution of specific strategic functions and implements high-end, business-wide, critical strategy. Provides guidance, plans and directs business units, maintains budgets, and proactively allocates resources and time for the business units or functions supported. Utilizes HP TANDEM, STRATUS, Software Quality, Visual Studio 200X, Linux-AIX, IBM Rational Functional Tester, Putty, Mr. WIN, IBM Clear Case, IBM RQM, IBM RDNG, AVIVA for Desktop, Win SCP, VB and VB Script, Java Script, C#.Net, ASP.Net, XML, ISO8583 specifications, Windows Operating Systems, MS DOS, Visio, Rational Rose (Rational tools), TOSCA, CA Clarity, and CA Service Desk.
REQTS:             Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in the position offered, as a Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or related position. Must have four (4) years of Payment Processing Industry experience with: Software Development Life Cycle; Agile Software Development; Waterfall methodology; basic development and design knowledge; defect management tools, including Clear Quest, Quality Center, HIRA, and RTC; HP TANDEM; STRATUS; Software Quality; Linux-AIX; IBM Rational Functional Tester; Putty; Mr. WIN; IBM Clear Case; IBM RQM; IBM RDNG; AVIVA for Desktop; Win SCP; VB and VB Script; Java Script; C#.Net; ASP.Net; XML; ISO8583 specifications; Windows Operating Systems; MS DOS; Visio; Rational Rose (Rational tools); CA Clarity; and CA Service Desk.
