Job Responsibilities

 

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing distributed and RPG application team.
  • Managing and assigning team workloads as needed.
  • Working with IT to assign dates for development projects.
  • Supporting Print operational issues by stepping in to support the team or Operations on recovery efforts as needed.
  • Working with production or system downtime requests that are submitted as needed.
  • Supporting the major FDR Data Center DR testing exercises for Print production as needed.
  • Supporting and respond to audit findings as needed/required.
  • Being an escalation point for team on call.
 

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of related technical and business experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications.
  • Has good working knowledge of IT functions and business units.
  • May have some level of expertise in one or more system(s), function(s) or business unit(s) supported.
  • Has strong knowledge of business operations, policies and practices. Requires general knowledge of industry supported.
  • Translates the IT strategy into action. 
  • Knowledge of First Data's print products, platforms, and operational areas a big plus.

Our Operations owner-associates are responsible for the stability of our global network infrastructure by helping our financial institution clients with various aspects of transaction processing, including statement management, card production and ticket-issue resolution. Our Call Center owner-associates are often the first point of contact for our business clients, and they play an important role in driving client satisfaction. They are responsible for answering questions and resolving problems on a wide range of issues, including account activation inquiries, potential fraudulent activity and our full range of products and services.
