Job Responsibilities

  • Create and facilitate sales training programs, specifically related to CardConnect and the merchant services industry, including onboarding of new sales representatives. Conduct training in-person and remotely, traveling two-four times per month. Facilitate training related to interchange, pricing and profitability, and statement analysis. Identify strengths and opportunities on a regular basis to ensure the partner sales teams are working to their highest level. Conduct sales training needs assessments, and analyze training needs to determine requirements for new program development. Evaluate and report on training performance and effectiveness. Create open communication climate and gather partners preferences for potential training. Communicate with sales teams and management regarding best practice, competition, product releases, and other current trends in the merchant services industry.


 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to flourish in an ever-changing, fast-paced sales environment College degree required, 3+ years sales or sales training experience in the merchant service industry. Detail-oriented, self-driven team player with strong organizational and team management skills. Understanding of sales process with the ability to manage the full training cycle. Excellent communication and facilitation/training delivery skills; strong math skills required Knowledge of learning principles (i.e. Adult Learning Theory) and modern training techniques (i.e. eLearning, Gamification). Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.com. Experienced with Adobe Acrobat (Pro), Learning Management Systems.
