Position Description Overview
The Transaction Risk Portfolio Manager relies on proven research, analytical and data analysis skills, sound judgment, individual problem solving skills, along with exceptional customer service to increase sustainable proven value for a portfolio that produces up to $4 million in annual revenue for Fraud Detect, a new and rapidly growing First Data product.
 
Fraud Detect is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art fraud prevention solution with real-time fraud scoring and machine learning capabilities designed to reduce losses due to fraud for large and small CNP/mobile businesses around the world. Fraud Detect also offers a suite of Managed and Professional services provided by a team of expert transaction risk analysts.
 
The Transaction Risk Portfolio Manager reports to the Director, Fraud Detect Managed & Professional Services.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Manages the Fraud Detect relationship for large and small national accounts within the QSR, Petrol, Retail, Travel, or other industries. Creates an infrastructure of reporting tools or databases to enhance accessibility and understanding of the data necessary to manage fraud programs.  Executes and follows through on the implementation and maintenance of such tools. 
     
  • Monitors and reports key metrics including fraud chargeback rates, false positives, negatively impacted customers, and general product and/or services performance.  Provides customer training and post-implementation support, with ongoing fraud strategizing for all accounts within their portfolio.  Hosts merchant œhealth checks on a routine basis and provides industry expertise and insight to maintaining a strong fraud solution.  Partners with internal and external partners while communicating changes to product and fraud strategy.

Job Requirements
  • 4 year degree required, MBA preferred; 5+ years' experience in leading customer-facing organizations;  2+ years' experience fraud/risk management;  Ideally combined background of customer success and fraud experience;  Ability to manage influence through persuasion and relationship building;  Strong empathy for customers and passion for driving results;  Understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models;  Demonstrated ability gathering data from interactions and implementing processes to position product and services in a proactive and effective stance;  Analytical and process-oriented mindset, highly organized;  Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement;  Enthusiastic and creative contributor with the ability to inspire others;  Excellent communication and presentation skills;  QSR, Petrol, Retail, Travel, Luxury, or other industry experience preferred.
     
  • Must work with little supervision.  The position will work on self-directed and leader-directed inquiries. Significant changes to existing risk programs will be approved by management. The position may communicate autonomously to sales and service groups at the director and vice president levels. Additionally, position will directly communicate with external customers.  This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Some travel may be required.
