Position Description Overview


International Tax Director is responsible for US Shareholder and International Compliance and US GAAP Provision. Will be responsible for managing the international tax provision process.  The role will involve extensive communication with FDC's global tax representatives and controllers to advise on income tax accounting matters. Responsibilities include US Tax Compliance for non-US entities and analysis of effective tax rate impact of foreign earnings, and will require coordination with the International Tax Planning team.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all quantitative aspects of the US International compliance and provision, including: * Managing international tax compliance and reporting functions, including APB 23, Subpart F income, Sec 956, GILTI, BEAT, ETR analysis and FIN 48;  * Preparation and review of U.S. International tax returns including Form 1118, 5471, 8858, 8865; * Computation and review of current and deferred tax provision, outside basis in foreign subsidiaries and OCI;  * Preparation and review of E&P studies, tax pools and tax basis.
  • Work closely with Tax Planning team and oversee repatriation strategy according to company APB23 position, as well as Analyze income tax accounting impact of transactions
  • Management and enhancement of international tax provision data gathering and reporting process
  • Quarterly in depth review of legal entity US GAAP tax provision for FDC's Controlled Foreign Corporations, including reconciliation and maintenance of Current and Deferred tax balances
  • Review and maintenance of Legal Entities attributes including Tax Credits, NOL, and related Valuation Allowance analysis
  • Coordinate and maintain SOX controls documentation
  • Ability to assess the need, design and implement a solution for tax improvement process

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related fields, MST / Masters in Tax and/or CPA preferred
  • 7-10+ years of hands on experience in ASC 740 and international tax compliance
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
