First Data Network and Security Solutions provides a wide range of value-added technology solutions to financial institutions of all sizes, enterprise clients and small businesses. Network Solutions include Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) network services, such as STAR debit and ATM processing, and prepaid network services, including Valuelink, MoneyNetwork, Transaction Wireless, and Gyft. Security Solutions include best-in-class solutions such as TransArmor and TeleCheck, and our suite of advanced fraud prevention solutions. NSS also supports our other digital strategies including mobile payments and online and mobile banking
Position Description Overview
The department is comprised of two distinct teams, PremierDefense and FRIS. Both teams are responsible for a separate portfolio of clients, FRIS being significantly larger from a portfolio size perspective. The clients supported by each team are, in most cases, Financial Institutions (Banks, Credit Unions, etc). These Financial Institutions or FI relationships utilize First Data to monitor their transactions for potential fraud and to advise them accordingly. Members of the PremierDefense team, also known as Fraud Strategists, have individually-assigned client portfolios and are solely dedicated to the daily support of those clients. Those support functions include, but are not limited to: Write client specific custom set of rules to create cases and/or deny high risk transactions. Permit the use of all the available tools in DefenseEdge. Provide one on one consultation with an experienced fraud mitigation professional. Provide regular reporting allowing clients to be aware of their fraud position and collaborate with their consultant.
