Position Description Overview

First Data is looking for a full-time Tier II Desktop Services Technician. 


This Tier II Technician needs to be someone who wants to learn and contribute to the IT Team. 


This position presents an opportunity to grow in whatever direction you wish to take your career in IT. 


Job Responsibilities

Job duties of this position are listed below: 


  •  Provide Tier II technical support to end users 
  •  Must be able to multitask projects and support 
  •  Work in our Tech Cafe's 
  •  Work tickets assigned to queues 
  •  Determine root cause by reviewing procedures and actions taken by user(s) 
  •  Execute installations and setups 
  •  Must possess Knowledge of all Microsoft Products 
  •  Windows 10 
  •  Virtual Desktop Support 
  •  MAC OS X 
  •  Mobile Device Support 
  •  Communicate and create / update Run Books 
  •  Exemplify teamwork in a highly visible, fast paced environment 
  •  Knowledge of Active Directory 
  •  Knowledge of Exchange 
  •  SCCM Knowledge a plus Preferred Certifications: MCP, MCSE Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline 


Scope of Job

Supports moderately complex business projects. Meet service level agreement on work assigned through ticketing system. May coach and mentor less experienced Analysts.

Job Requirements

  • Preferred Certifications: MCP, MCSE Bachelors or Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline
