We are looking for an Enterprise IT Architect/DevOps Engineer for a full-time role at our Atlanta location.
The Lead Architect/ DevOps Engineer will be hands-on that supports the Product Development teams through their Agile life cycle and take our in-house applications from design to full production rollout. You will ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet customer business specifications and support the strategic direction of the enterprise.
The software solutions team moves quickly and expects all team members to manage their time effectively. The lead DevOps engineer should be self-directed, self-starter and professional in their interactions with others.
Scope of Job
Works on complex systems and project issues with senior IT management. Demonstrates strong leadership with senior management. Coaches and leads other IT managers and business managers.
Works with senior management to define and develop technology strategy. Independently works with functional and business units to execute strategy.
Experience with continuous integration and deployment utilizing tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GIT, Atlassian BitBucket/Stash
Strong background in cloud and virtualization - Pivotal Cloud foundry (PCF) and AWS
Experience with provisioning using Puppet, Chef, or similar tools
Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards
Strong background in security, network protocols and Linux configuration
Experience in working with both physical and virtual environments.
Research and evaluate new technologies to help improve our business objectives
Develop of tools and frameworks to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability and performance for the technology foundation of our platform
Lead the design and building of a fully automated self-service platform in AWS, but that could also work in a hybrid cloud environment
Continuously improve our infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure and fault-tolerant.
