Position Description Overview

First Data is seeking an Executive Recruiter to successfully identify and recruit top talent to its executive ranks. The position will interface with the most senior leaders within the firm, and will be responsible for setting and implementing strategic recruiting plans to ensure that the very best executive talent is identified and recruited to First Data. This position reports to the VP Talent Acquisition and will be headquartered in Atlanta.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal senior leaders to get a clear view on their strategic and financial objectives and ideal candidate profile
  • Network and build long-lasting client relationships
  • Create and carry out a targeted research strategy
  • Research into clients company, competitors and market place to maintain competitive advantage in attraction key top talent
  • Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels including the most cutting edge social media strategies
  • Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and long term success/progression within the company
  • Conduct confidential interviews, follow-up references and background
  • Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
  • Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
  • Follow up with clients and assist with the candidate's transition and onboarding process


Job Requirements

  • Proven working experience as a senior level executive recruiter. Experience with a premier Retained Executive Search firm is highly preferred.
  • Effective negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field. MBA a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the executive recruitment processes
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software and candidate databases
  • Strong knowledge of candidates selection methods
  • Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
  • Excellent knowledge of area of expertise (market status, trends, best practices). Payments industry experience and/or financial services is highly desired
  • Client focus along with proven relationship building skills
  • Business acumen and market insight
  • Ability to multi-task and work with little direction; high sense of urgency
