Job Objective:
Assists Senior Underwriting Coordinator and underwriters in all facets of BHHC Specialty Risk (BSR) agency underwriting process. Processes commercial property, non-admitted auto and surplus lines transactions within the AIM system. Processes endorsements, prepares binders and invoices all premiums. Reviews and processes all other endorsement requests from retail customers with direction from underwriters according to company and agency guidelines. Processes cancellations and reinstatement transactions. May assist underwriters with rating accounts, preparing indications and reviewing inspection reports and audits as needed. May assist Agency Reconciliation department for accounts receivable due BSR from retailers. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge:
*High school diploma or GED or equivalent and two years college or equivalent
*Good math skills
*Strong attention to detail

*Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
*Personal computer related software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred Knowledge:
*2-3 years related work experience
*PC hardware/software capabilities and limitations
*Insurance terminology for property and casualty industry
*Insurance related courses
