Clarkson College is currently seeking an adjunct Instructor to teach in the online Doctor of Healthcare Education and Leadership (EdD) Program, with an anticipated start date of May 2023.
This position will teach one of four dissertation courses embedded in the EdD curriculum with a primary focus on quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research approaches. In addition to helping EdD students identify, refine, and finalize their dissertation research methodology/design and write Chapter 3 (Methodology) of the dissertation, this Instructor will serve as a Dissertation Chair and Dissertation Committee Member. This position may also teach other courses in the EdD curriculum.
Required Qualifications:
Terminal degree (EdD, PhD)
College/university teaching, preferably at the graduate level.
Qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed-methods research.
Community and/or organizational leadership.
Use of digital learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in a research-related discipline or industry.
