As a direct report to the President of Clarkson College, the position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function for the College in support of the Mission and Values of the organization as an academic institution. The position will work with College faculty and staff regarding employee benefits, payroll...etc. and will assist College leadership to meet regional and program-specific accreditation standards. In addition, the position will serve as a liaison to the HR department of our educational partner, Nebraska Medicine.
Day-to-day: coordination and execution of the following processes: recruitment, hiring, interviewing, selection of personnel, orientation, payroll, performance appraisals and records administration.
Planning and Development: defining, developing and implementing strategies for compensation administration, employment programs, human resources policies and procedures, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, compliance with human resource and College regulations, and other duties as assigned to meet the needs of College employees.
