Job Description

Job Objective:  

The Systems Administrator position maintains and supports the processes and technology for NEI’s technical systems
encompassing servers, networks, desktops, phones, and software. The position is responsible for the upgrading and
supporting effective technical system solutions to meet business requirements.


Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain, upgrade, and support all aspects of Technical Services including servers, networks, desktops, phones, software
• Document and support operations of network and servers, phone system, e-mail, employee software, and desktops/laptops
• Lead and support Information Security across the technical architecture
• Lead and apply industry best practices and standards in the support of system and network administration
• Responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, network and related infrastructure
• Troubleshooting and resolving highly complex architectural and systems technical problems
• Provide advanced technical assistance for individual users
• Adherence to company policies and philosophies

Required Skills:

Technology Skills
o Thorough knowledge of installing, configuring, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software,
network, desktops/laptops, and related infrastructure including, but not limited to:
o Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft Windows, Citrix Xenapp, Cisco Networks
o Advanced experience with installing, configuring, operation, and maintenance of Cisco phone systems
o Leading and applying industry best practices and standards in the support of system and network administration
o Leading and applying Information Security best practices across the technical architecture
o Leading and supporting operational aspects of systems hardware, software, network, and related infrastructure
