Job Objective:

The Expense Assistant will support the Expense Tracking team by performing various basic accounting and office functions as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sending follow-up letters.
  • Prepare reports as needed.
  • Update information into database(s), spreadsheets or other software, ensuring a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain paper files as needed.
  • Assist with file storage and retrieval processes.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Provide back up for other staff as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Basic accounting knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in a professional environment, or college coursework in Accounting/Finance/Business field.
  • Ability to move in fast paced environment and prioritize to meet daily deadlines.
  • Motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to learn quickly and a strong aptitude with numbers.
  • Must possess a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and management in a courteous professional manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
