The mission of Children’s Respite Care Center is to provide comprehensive services and family support to medically fragile, developmentally delayed, physically challenged, and behaviorally disordered children and their families by providing services that evoke maximum potential and foster the development of intellectual and social competence.

General Description: Assist the Marketing Communications Department with executing CRCC’s internal and external communication plan. Candidates should have the desire to work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. The position is a great opportunity to build your skill set and learn all aspects of communications and marketing in a nonprofit setting. Specific tasks may include managing social media, maintaining CRCC’s website, writing and designing newsletters/publications, media relations, special event planning, and more. 

Qualifications:  Strong organizational and communication skills; good writing and proofreading skills; social media knowledge and experience; experience working on websites; knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office; experience in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other graphic design tools is a plus. An ideal candidate will be flexible and enjoy both creative and organizational processes. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent experience required.
