Responsibilities

Assembles electrical and mechanical components according to the information provided to produce a quality festoon system product.
Electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
Tests and adjusts electrical assemblies.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
Acts as manufacturing consultant to engineering and sales department concerning design problems.
Responsible for checking the accuracy of engineering, sales and manufacturing offices' input to ensure customer final product is correct and within quality acceptance guidelines.
Communicate to appropriate departments any changes or corrections made to ensure future product output is consistent with customer expectations.
Through actions and decision-making, proactively supports, promotes, and improves the quality system and policy throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years’ experience with electrical or mechanical assembly required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Ability to use measurement devices required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals required.
Ability to write and/or verbally communicate correspondence required.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals required.
Experience operating cut-off saws and drill presses required.
Soldering experience and ability to read blueprints preferred.
