Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Composite Lumber Sales Representative to join their growing team. The selected individual will be responsible for promoting and selling the wide range of high-quality products to a diverse customer base. This individual will play a vital role in expanding the market presence and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction, landscaping, and related industries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while continuously seeking ways to upsell and cross-sell products.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product features, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition of products.
  • Provide product demonstrations and technical information to potential customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their specific project requirements and recommend appropriate product solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to architects, contractors, builders, and other stakeholders.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of products, emphasizing durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on customer specifications.
  • Create detailed proposals that address customer needs and align with company capabilities.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Provide feedback to the management team to assist in refining marketing and sales strategies.


  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in construction, building materials, or lumber sales. 
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of composite lumber and related products.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
