Our client is seeking a Director of Real Estate to join their growing team. The selected individual will be responsible for sourcing, acquisition, and the integration and management of the organization’s real estate and real estate investments, including residential and commercial properties. 
Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain the organization's real estate strategy and operating plans. 
  • Financial planning, modelling, and budgeting of the organization’s real estate holdings. 
  • Engage developers and contractors to execute real estate project development.
  • Lead the negotiation of terms and costs with contractors.
  • Oversee and manage the development of site plans, including the evaluation of current conditions, estimation, and the projection of future value.
  • Examine and analyze the existing economic, demographic, market, and environmental variables to determine areas for expansion.
  • Review sites to assess costs and required steps for zoning, local ordinances, and acceptability.

  • Work closely with contractors, realtors, engineers, designers, municipal government officials, attorneys, and several other required and necessary professionals.
  • Identify and examine the development potential of specific tracts of land and redevelopment of existing structures.
  • Work within the community to establish goodwill with community leaders. 
  • Reporting the property’s financial status, occupancy and expiring leases to property owners.
  • Manage various real estate related projects and initiatives.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field. 
  • Minimum of five years of related work experience.
  • Vendor management experience, specifically soliciting bids for property enhancement or maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license, proof of liability auto insurance, and ability to drive for organization business.
