Job Title: Driver
SUMMARYEnhances the customers' positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their homes or offices while service is being performed on their vehicles.
Job Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
Keeps a timely shuttle route.
Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
Operates cellular phone to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
Keeps a record of trips and destination or pick-up point.
Notifies driver coordinator of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
Pick-up and deliver paper work, including the daily scheduled inner-office mail runs.
Pick-up and delivery of documents, parts, supplies, vehicles, etc. between all Woodhouse locations.
Dealer trades locally and long distance.
Safely transport vehicles for customers that cannot or are not to be driven by using a trailer, car hauler, or dolly, if certified.
Pick-up and deliver loaner vehicles and rental vehicles.
Test drive vehicles for service.
Fuel and wash customer's vehicles, chase vehicles, and trailers.
Meal runs for employees.
Daily bank and post office runs.
Follows established organizational procedures and safety rules.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Working conditions are normal for driving vehicles; working both indoors and outdoors; exposed to all weather conditions,noise, vibration, or heavy traffic. Driving can be a physically demanding job where one may be driving for many hours at a stretch, loading and unloading. May be required to stay overnight to complete delivery.
Equipment & Machines Used
Includes but not limited to a vehicle, truck trailer, straps and winch control.
Reports to the Driver Coordinator.

Job Knowledge/Skills Required
Read road signs, maps and a GPS device.
Excellent oral communication with customers and fellow drivers.
Valid drivers license.
