Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required:

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is to provide recreation therapy to residents. The primary responsibilities of this job include planning and implementing various activities with residents. This position is also responsible for communicating with residents family members and coordinating social gatherings.

Skills & Requirements

Bachelors degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.

Two (2) years experience as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

Additional experience in therapeutic recreation within a skilled nursing facility.

Completion of Nebraska-certified Activity Coordinator course or certified therapeutic recreation specialist within 6 months of hire.

Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
