Immanuel is seeking a Maintenance Assistant II to work in our Des Moines, IA locations.

The schedule for this position is Full time Days, Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with an on call rotation every 3rd week.

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required:

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is to complete interior and exterior carpentry work and maintain utilities for the facility. The responsibilities of this job include maintaining HVAC, heat pumps, furnaces, plumbing, and electrical functionality, record keeping, hanging dry wall, and clearing snow from walkways.

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

HVAC Trade or Vocational Schooling is preferred.

Two (2) years of facilities maintenance experience is required.

Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
