Deerfield - Lead Server - Part-Time Evenings & Weekends

Immanuel is seeking a Part time Lead Server to work about 16 hours/week -- weekedays 3:30pm-8:00pm and weekend mornings -- at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.

This position will pay up to $17.84/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of this job include assisting the management team with new employees training and helping implement our company policies and cleanliness of our dining rooms. Also working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime and nighttime shifts. Prepares tables for meals, refilling containers, clearing dishes, handling food safely, attending to residents needs, taking phone orders, and ensuring other servers are completing tasks. Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community.

Skills & Requirements

One (1) year dining room serving experience is required.
