Description

The overall purpose of this job is to execute all marketing plans and efforts for demand generation and marketing optimization to meet budgeted occupancy and participation census objectives for the organization. The primary responsibilities of this job include using a mix of traditional advertising tactics such as television, radio and print; inbound marketing tactics; online advertising and email marketing; public relations and communications tactics; and direct response tactics to grow the organization’s overall company growth. This position leads and inspires a team of creatives, marketing and communications experts and is responsible for helping to craft and maintain the company brand. Other areas of reach will include sales enablement strategy and support, customer insights, voice of customer and data collection inside Immanuel’s customer experience model. Supports and lives out Immanuel’s Mission and CHRIST Promises.

Key Areas

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

Marketing

  • Executes marketing efforts to build key business metrics including leads, marketing qualified leads (MQLs), sales qualified leads (SQLs) and opportunities.
  • Collaborates with supervisor to create and execute sales enablement plan to support company-wide occupancy and census in all business lines.
  • Manages team of internal resources responsible for telling the company story to all of Immanuel’s audiences.
  • Builds the preference for corporate brand through exceptional internal and external communications strategies – helping to share Immanuel’s story to employees, residents, participants, prospects and families.
  • Ensures consistency and integrity behind company’s brand and brand guidelines.
  • Works with vendors and personally supports/creates content regularly to grow the company’s footprint (press releases, corporate announcements, message points, etc.).
  • Collaborates with internal communications council to support and execute all internal communication/marketing plans/strategies and tactics for the organization by making the tactics tangible.
  • Collaborates with Vice President of Sales & Marketing to create and execute marketing plans, tactics and target market segments for the organization by making the tactics tangible to meet occupancy and census goals for each of Immanuel’s Communities and Immanuel’s Pathways (PACE) Centers; calculating desired response rates, evaluating ROI and effectiveness of marketing efforts against desired goals and collaborating with team to proactively adjust as necessary.
  • Implements marketing strategies and tactics to support lead generation and brand campaigns, working with internal teams and outside resources/vendors to ensure work meets objectives.
  • Forges ongoing strong communication and service level agreement (SLA) between marketing and sales.
  • Executes traditional (television, print, broadcast, etc.) and digital marketing strategies, working with vendors to ensure marketing efforts are consistent and relevant to the brand.
  • Manages new lead acquisition and nurturing through in-bound processes (oversees organizations use of HubSpot), working closely the Immanuel sales team to meet SQL objectives.
  • Collaborates with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to support Immanuel’s customer experience model - owning data collection, ongoing rollout and adoption of model, customer listening pathways and ecosystem tools.
  • Acts as the day-to-day conduit for vendors, freelancers and media outlets to meet objectives.
  • Assists in conducting and analyzing market research, working with Executive Directors, Director of Sales and marketing colleagues to generate trend analysis Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scorecards, recommending proactive changes in strategies to meet identified objectives.
  • Forecasts and assists the Vice President of Sales & Marketing and organization in achieving greater marketing success/results.

Staff Management

  • Manages staff, works with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing to assist in creation of annual resource and staffing plan.
  • Manages day-to-day oversight of marketing team including hiring, coaching, developing and appraising with input from the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Other

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Education-

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business related field with an emphasis in sales is required.
  • Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.

Experience-

  • Five (5) years of experience in Communications or Marketing is required.
  • Three (3) years of managing a team required.
  • Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
