Job Description

Purpose of the Job:  

The overall purpose of this job is to own day-to-day digital marketing operations for Immanuel.  Build and manage lead generation marketing campaigns using social marketing, email, search engine optimization (SEO), mobile and banners.  Collaborate with design and development resources to optimize website usability.  Supports and lives out Immanuel’s Mission and CHRIST Promises.

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job

Digital Marketing

  • Develop digital marketing vision and strategy to support business goals.
  • Build and manage lead generation marketing campaigns using social marketing, email, search engine optimization, mobile and videos.
  • Ensures all campaigns are set up to accurately track conversion performance from both clicks and impressions.
  • Responsible for establishing online marketing goals to ensure share of market and profitability of products and/or services.
  • Manage search engine optimization (SEO).
  • Work directly with social media channels, when appropriate, go through an agency to establish and maintain relationships with social media channel partners.
  • Contribute to and regularly update external social media sites:  Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and other community sites.
  • Recommend new social media tools, sites, and Apps as part of the social media mix.

Writing/Marketing Content

  • Develop social media content, web advertising and web content development.
  • Create and manage digital marketing materials, including writing promotional copy, basic video editing and coordinating with the Immanuel brand design and graphics.
  • Develop content or promotional ideas calendar for various sites.

 

Marketing Analytics

  • Provide digital analytics to key stakeholders.
  • Design methods for measuring ROI and effectiveness of ad channels.
  • Research, analyze, and monitor financial, technological, and demographic factors in order to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize the effects of competitor activity.
  • Create robust reporting dashboards and determine key findings to make appropriate revisions.

Other

  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education-

  • Associates degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is required.
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred.
  • Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education requirement.

Experience-

  • Two (2) years of experience working in a company marketing department or an advertising agency or related experience is required.
  • Two (2) years of hands-on experience with online lead generation digital marketing including using digital marketing strategies to grow leads and traffic is required.
  • Previous experience with managing, measuring and optimizing all social channels.
  • Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.

KSA- Knowledge Skills and Abilities-

  • Proficient in graphics, web advertising, social media, and web content development and management.
  • Skills in marketing platforms including measurement and tracking of Google, Google Analytics, Display Advertising Channels, Email Marketing Platforms, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Knowledge of latest SEO best practices and ability to develop recommendations and implement.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and digital campaigns.
  • Understanding of brand management and lead generation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively communicate in both verbal and written forms, including speaking before groups.
  • Ability to be a self-starter who is capable of taking the initiative to effectively perform job duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and  plan effectively using proactive approach, keeping appointments and following through on commitments.
  • Ability to think strategically.
