CollegeNOW! Director

Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for a full-time CollegeNOW! Director.

Responsibilities:  Coordinate, develop, and facilitate dual enrollment partnerships with service area high schools and home-schooled youth. Oversee specialized efforts, including specific district articulation agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOU) between WNCC and its partnering secondary educational institutions. Work closely with WNCC colleagues and partner high school staff/faculty to recruit students and guide them toward academic pathways in preparation for matriculation to Western Nebraska Community College. Collaborate with key offices throughout the College (Admissions, Registrar, Department Heads, etc.) and faculty, to sustain and scale efforts to increase and maintain high school student credit attainment and workforce training at the college.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.  Three to five years of Community College Advising and/or High School Guidance Counselor Experience preferred.  Demonstrated knowledge of a comprehensive community college and concurrent enrollment preferred.  Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC’s vehicle insurance required.

Salary:  Commensurate.

Start Date: Negotiable.
