Adult Education Instructor - Scottsbluff (Part-time)

Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for a part-time Adult Education Instructor in Scottsbluff.  Day and evening hours available.

Responsibilities:  Provide group instruction to AE, and GED students; provide direct instruction for a class and/or one on one assistance with remedial courses as required.  Provide instruction to meet all College and Career Readiness (CCR) standards.  Prepare lessons and schedule classroom activities; develop and prepare supplemental materials to enhance GED and CCR lessons.  Administer and evaluate assessment tests to determine student needs; enroll students in appropriate programs; administer tests to evaluate student performance; record individual student scores and progress. 

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.  Official transcripts will be required if hired.  Some experience in an instructional setting as a tutor or teacher is preferred. 

Salary:  Commensurate. 

Start Date:  Immediate.
