Digital Marketing Specialist
Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Digital Marketing Specialist. This position is based out of our Scottsbluff, Nebraska Campus and is not available for online or remote work.
As a member of the Public Relations & Marketing Department, deliver creative and innovative marketing strategies using the web and social media. Manage WNCC’s official social media channels, monitor and report on key metrics using analytics to improve SEO and the success of digital content and campaigns, manage day-to-day content of the WNCC website using a content management system, develop and edit web pages, address website accessibility issues for disabled persons, and monitor graphic standards compliance on all marketing materials.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, journalism, new media studies, or related field or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required duties.
Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated experience in any of the following: social media platforms, content management systems, project management, writing, editing, and organizing communications projects. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC’s vehicle insurance.
