Job Description

Admissions Counselor

Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Admissions Counselor. 


Assist the Admissions Director in all aspects of the admissions process; perform activities designed to attract, inform, and assist prospective and accepted students and their families as they discover the benefits and outcomes of attending WNCC; provide information to these students about programs of study, scholarships, financial aid, admissions requirements, and campus life; provide support and continued implementation for the Admissions CRM. Recruitment efforts require some night & weekend work, and frequent travel.


Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required; outgoing, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with excellent oral & written communication skills and technical skills; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required duties. Bilingual in the English and Spanish languages is a plus.
