CAREER PATHWAYS ADVISOR

Western Nebraska Community College is currently seeking applications for the position of Career Pathways Advisor. 

Responsibilities
This 12 month, full-time Student Services position is responsible to contribute to the overall vision of the Career Pathways and Internship Center, including career exploration, advising and testing; maintaining career resources; establishing student/employer internship opportunities; and facilitating job contacts between employers and students. The position also serves in an advising capacity as part of the WNCC Advising and Success Center, providing academic guidance and support to all new, incoming students, facilitating the intake process, and connecting students with other important resources on campus.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a discipline directly related to employment, career development and planning, or other human resources concentration. Academic preparation in a student counseling or student affairs related discipline will be considered, if supported by directly related employer college relations, advising, recruitment, or staffing experience.  Three years of related experience in career/academic advising or student services related work preferred.

Salary
Commensurate.
