Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor/Program Director
Western Nebraska Community College is currently accepting applications for the position of Medical Laboratory Technician Instructor/Program Director.
Responsibilities: This faculty position will instruct in the Medical Laboratory Technician and Phlebotomy Programs. In addition, this position will provide leadership in the administration of the programs including curriculum design and review and compliance, provide coordination for the programs’ clinical placements as well as overseeing competency-based clinical experiences, and develop, review and implement all policies and oversee program curriculum.
Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree and three years of teaching experience in clinical laboratory science education. ASCP-BOC U.S. generalist certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Administrative experience preferred. Knowledge of current NAACLS accreditation and certification procedures preferred; and/or any equivalent combinations of experience and education which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required duties.
Start Date: August 2018.
