Automotive Technology Instructor (Scottsbluff Campus)
Teach a range of automotive technology courses, with an emphasis on engine rebuilding, automotive electrical systems, and heating/AC. Evening and weekend classes may be scheduled, plus concurrent credit teaching for high school students. The instructor is expected to be a generalist who is comfortable with both didactic instruction and supervised shop experiences for students. Some knowledge of diesel technology is beneficial, but not required.
Appropriate industry certification and extensive experience in the profession (8+ years), along with the willingness to become an ASE master certified technician. Minimally must be ASE certified in all areas related to teaching assignments within two years. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching and a focus on student learning. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
