Schedule: Full Time


As a Business Office Specialist you will process, monitor, and audit various financial activities ensuring departmental compliance with policies and procedures. This position also provides reports and data pertaining to the fiscal management of individual departmental budgets and other administrative support. This position will work on the front lines for the Development and Marketing business office and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited: accounts payable, transaction and expense reporting, timekeeping, general bookkeeping, handling donations, mailings, supporting our gift shop, and other development project work.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • 2 years of administrative support experience, preferably including experience with accounting or billing.
  • Ability to compare data from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ability to compose routine correspondence and reports.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
