OVERVIEW OF JOB
The Information Security Project Coordinator organizes projects involving the planning and implementation of security measures to protect the organizations information and systems. This position also provides ongoing support of InfoSec administrative activities. As our Information Security Project Coordinator, some of your additional responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinates projects to ensure information security.
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors detailed project schedules including timelines, workflow, budgets, personnel, and resources; maintains project calendars and tracks updates or modifications to project plans.
  • Coordinates and participates in project planning meetings.
  • Facilitates collaboration between project decision-makers.
  • Maintains, updates, and distributes project progress reports and metrics including budget estimates, cost tracking, and return-on-investment.
  • Coordinates efforts to ensure that projects remain on schedule and within budget parameters.
  • Maintains relationships with internal stakeholders and external resources to foster a security culture and ensure the success of interdepartmental projects.
  • Coordinates and organizes departmental activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, OR SKILLS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience, preferably including project coordination.
  • This position is on-call (continuously or rotationally) to provide support.
  • Knowledge of project coordination frameworks, processes, and procedures.
  • Ability to be innovative, and to understand and analyze different markets.
  • Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, at all levels in the organization and with external contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality; strong presentation skills.
  • Strong personal organization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; knowledge of prospect management software.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment and effectively interact with all departments and employee levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive data and information.
  • Ability to build and sustain successful, professional relationships.
