OVERVIEW OF JOB
As our Accounts Payable Specialist you will process invoices and statements for accounts payable. You will compute, classify and record A/P documentation and records. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, verifying documents received, preparing invoices and statements for imaging, ensure vendors are paid on time and to provide quality customer service.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, OR SKILLS
o High school diploma or equivalent
o 1 to 2 years of experience including administrative; finance, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred
o Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
o High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills
o Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
o Ability to communicate with individuals in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality
o Ability to type accurately and proficiently at a high rate of speed
o Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multi-task while maintaining quality standards
