Job Description

Community Alliance, a nonprofit mental health agency providing a full range of treatment, rehabilitation and recovery services for adults with mental illness is implementing a new Electronic Health Record (EHR). We are seeking an individual with technical knowledge, understanding and experience in the implementation and utilization of an EHR within a healthcare or behavioral health environment.

 

Duties include:

  • Provide analytical and technical skills related to Electronic Health Records (EHR) functionality, configuration and reporting.
  • Monitor, design and employ processes to improve/assure data integrity.
  • Build reports providing accurate analytics of key performance indicators and regulatory compliance measures on a real-time and retrospective basis.
  • Design, create and edit EHR templates/forms.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement functions and facilitate informed decision-making at the program, management and executive leadership levels through extraction and analysis of data.
  • Provide staff training and support via help desk, and on-site and webinar training.
  • Exercise substantial professional judgment, problem solving and analytical skills on a daily basis.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience implementing and training end users in EHR systems within healthcare, behavioral health or related setting.
  • Degree and/or technical training in information science/technology.
  • Experience and knowledge of relational databases, e.g. SQL Server.
  • Experience with workflow development and enhancement.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and support new applications and functionality.
  • Ability to work with and communicate both orally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member and lead projects.
